Celebrate Thanksgiving in Red River New Mexico
Red River Ski Area opens Nov 21st. You don’t want to miss the Frozen Turkey Race at noon on the 22nd. Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal or order off the menu at one of our many restaurants. There will be live entertainment. Bring your shopping list, that unique gift for yourself or someone else might be waitng for you. On the evening of the 22nd join the celebration at Brandenburg Park for the annual Switch on the Holidays, tree lighting, visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, refreshments and old fashion sing along. With a little help from mother nature your weekend might include a snow mobile adventure or a day cross country skiing or snow shoeing at the Enchnated Forest Cross Country Ski Area.
