SEPTEMBER: September 20th- The Aspen leaves turn to gold and copper color. Red River Celebrates with Aspencade Arts and Crafts and the annual Red River Folk Festival September 23rd-25th. While the temperatures can vary from 75 in the day to the high 30’s at night it’s a perfect time to enjoy a jeep ride, ROV, trail ride, or hike into the forest.

OCTOBER: Still plenty of time to enjoy the color change and a slower pace in Red River. Join us Columbus Day Weekend for our Annual Oktoberfest in the park. While the temperatures are cooler and the days are shorter there is still plenty of places to explore and things to do, and you might get to see the first snow fall of the season. Our visitor center will keep you updated as to who is open for dining and places to shop.

NOVEMBER: Red River Ski Area OPENING DAY – November 23rd – along with a whole lot of town wide events over the Thanksgiving Weekend – maybe it’s time you start a new tradition and spend Turkey Day with us. Log on to redriver.org for a calendar of events and activities.
